In response to media reviews, the Saudi authorities has requested Pakistan to not enter into Hajj agreements citing fears over the coronavirus pandemic.
The Hajj settlement is to assist prepare meals, shelter and journey for the pilgrims from the nation. Dr. Muhammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, Saudi Minister, has written a letter to Pakistan’s Ministry of Non secular Affairs asking them to not signal such agreements till the “course of Covid-19 is obvious”.
The letter has been obtained in the present day by the Non secular Affairs Ministry in Pakistan and it goes on to say that the Saudi authorities is monitoring the developments and can transient about any future plan of action after.
As per reviews, after receiving the letter, the Ministry has stopped all work on the Hajj agreements.
