Netflix

  • Restart PlayStation.
  • Update your Netflix login information:
  • Start from the “home” screen of your PS3.
  • If the home screen is not open for you, press and hold the PS3 button in the center of the console, select quit, and select yes.
  • Go to the TV/Video Services Section and highlights Netflix.3
  • Press X.
  • Once you click on X, press and hold to start and select until the prompt appears (Would you like to reset your Netflix settings and re-register?)

Validate DNS settings:

If your wireless connection is on, follow these steps before continuing:

  • From the WLAN section, select Enter Manually (manual input)
  • Press the right direction button three times to access the IP address setting (the SSID information, the security setting, and the password saved before) will be filled in.
  • In case of wired connection, select Autodetect for playback mode.
  • Select automatic (Auto) for IP address Setting.
  • Select Do not set (not set) to set up DHCP hostname (DHCP hostname).
  • Select Automatic for DNS Setting (DNS setting).
  • Select automatic (Auto) for MTU setting.
  • Select do not use for the Proxy server.
  • Select enable for UPnP.
  • Press the X button to save the settings.
  • Select Test Connection.
  • If the connection test succeeds, try rerunning Netflix.
  • If the connection test fails, continue with the troubleshooting steps listed below

Reinstall the Netflix app as follows:

First: Uninstall the Netflix app

  • Start from the home screen of your PS3. If the home screen is not open, press and hold the PS button in the center of the console, select quit, and then select yes.
  • Go to the TV/Video Services Section and highlights Netflix.
  • Press the Triangle button on the console.
  • Select Delete.
  • Select Yes.

Second: Reinstall the Netflix app

  • From the screen (home page), go to the TV/Video Services Section (video/TV) and select the Netflix icon, if the home screen is not open for you, press and hold the PS button in the center of the console, select quit, and then select yes.
  • Select “Yes” to confirm that you want to download the software. Downloading the Netflix app will start now.
  • If you don’t see the Netflix app, follow the steps below to download it from the PlayStation Store:
    • From the PS3 home screen, select the PlayStation Store.
    • Select apps (Apps).
    • Select Movies/TV (movies/TV).
    • Select Netflix.
    • Select Download.
    • Once the Netflix download is finished, select Start.
    • Sign in to your Netflix account and try to stream again.
    • You may be prompted to first log in to the PlayStation network account (PSN).

How to Fix UI error-800-3 on PlayStation 4

  • Restart PlayStation.
  • Sign out of Netflix.
  • From the home screen, press O on the control.
    • Select the gear icon.
    • Select Logoff.
    • Select Yes.
    • Try rerunning Netflix.

  • Select do not use to set up a Proxy server (proxy server).
  • Select Test Connection.
  • If the connection test succeeds, try rerunning Netflix.

How to fix UI error-800-3 on Samsung TV

If you’re using Samsung TV, it’s best to reset Smart Hub to solve this problem.

First: If there is a number panel on the remote control:

  • Quit Smart Hub. You cannot reset Smart Hub if it is in use.
  • Press the menu button on your remote control.
  • Navigate to the Smart Hub section and select it from the main menu.
  • Select the Smart Hub Reset, which will remove all applications! You’ll need to re-download your apps after rebooting.

Important Notes

  1. During power separation, it is preferable to press the Operation button on the device to unload its payload. If you cannot access the play button or your device is not powered on, leave your device without a power source connection for at least 3 minutes.
  2. When you try to sign out of the Netflix application, and if you do not have the settings option or gear icon, you can drag the Disable screen upward by entering the following sequence using the arrow keys in the device’s remote control, UP ARROW, UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW, down ARROW, right ARROW, LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, LEFT ARROW, UP ARROW, UP ARROW, UP ARROW, UP ARROW.
